Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol have taken the Hindi entertainment industry by storm with their on-screen and off-screen chemistry. Having worked together in many movies, they became one of the most cherished pairs in Bollywood. Movie fanatics were left in awe after the official social media handle of Oscars Academy posted a snippet of their song Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna from their iconic film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995).

Sharing the song on Instagram, they captioned the post, “Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol performing the classic song "Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna" from 1995's 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’.” Excited fans immediately took to the comment section of the post and flooded it with red heart emojis. For those who don’t remember, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was directed by Aditya Chopra. The timeless classic holds the title of being the longest-running movie in Indian cinema history. The movie’s screenings were continuously held at Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir theatre for 27 years. Apart from DDLJ, the actors have also shared the screen in movies like Baazigar, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Dilwale, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and My Name Is Khan.
